Cultural Policy Update for Europe
Cultural Policy Update for Europe
Culture makers are faced with extreme challenges in many countries in Europe. The efforts to establish a solidary network that strengthens culture makers and their regional structures made an enormous step forward last year: building upon the network stronger together, advocacy groups from twelve different member states of the European Union have come together in a new association, The European Association of Independent Performing Arts – EAIPA. What kinds of additional structures can function across Europe and help to improve the situation of independent artists? What funding opportunities are open to institutions and initiatives to ensure that networks are designed sustainably?
In cooperation with The European Association of Independent Performing Arts – EAIPA.
With: Inga Remeta (Društvo Asociacija Slovenija), Ulrike Kuner (The European Association of Independent Performing Arts – EAIPA, IG Freie Theater Österreich), Nataliia Syvanenko (Wild Theatre Kiev), Gerry Woop (Berlin’s Senate Department for Culture and Europe). Moderated by Essi Kalima (Finland Institute).
