In-Depth Conversation: Solidarity and Gender

In the ght for social justice and in the fight to overcome patriarchal structures, the model of solidarity is frequently taken up and used as a strategy. The Institut für chauvinistische Weiterbildung (Institute for Chauvinist Further Education) calls in its manifesto for solidarity and a radical confrontation between the white majority man and a plural society. This alliance of writers from across the German-speaking world brings up new questions surrounding the topic of solidarity. Ultimately, the shared power structures of contemporary reality which disadvantage women using binary concepts will be revealed and a joint artistic search for forms of feminist art will be initiated.
