Refusal – Workshop I Physical Awareness I Lecture I Discussion
Is there space within today's “achievement-oriented society” for an image of humanity that is not primarily oriented around one’s abilities and productivity? In a world marked by action, production, intervention, talk and noise, “doing nothing”, “silence”, “stillness” and “secrecy” describe the contours of a philosophy of “letting things go” – as a simultaneous quitting and conscious leaving things in peace.
This workshop will lead the participants through theoretical landscapes and playful (non) exercises, physical awareness will be achieved and the workshop will end with a discussion.
Participants:
Dr. Alice Lagaay (Universität Bremen)
Sonja Augart (Zeitgenössischer Tanz Berlin e.V./Haben und Brauchen)
Annette von Zwoll (Dramaturgy)
