New Collaborations – virtuellestheater

Collaboration is a central component and the creative drive for the artistic practice of the Berlin-based performance collective virtuellestheater. In doing so, the collaboration does not exclusively take place with and between human beings, but instead also always involve non-human agents such as plants, animals, spaces, materials or machines. virtuellestheater continuously seeks out opportunities to incorporate unknown entities into its working processes as equal partners and, in doing so, constantly finds new answers. Over the course of two days, virtuellestheater will open up its process and, together with the participants, enter into artistic partnerships with non-human partners. This will result in the creation of communication far beyond standardized language systems and neoliberal-capitalist logic. A set of rules for the unknown and incomprehensible will be written, opening up the possibility of exchanges for free, uid thinking.
