Shadows and Mirrors - New Facets of the Description and Negotiation of Realities

The culture of an epoch finds forms to describe and negotiate realities that are typical for the time. In four presentations, experts and artists attempt to approach the prospects of different disciplines.

The theater group Markus & Markus bring realities onstage in a radical way.

The cultural scholar Dr. Hanna Engelmeier will examine the radical perspectives of contemporary authors such as Karl Ove Knausgård and Emmanuelle Carrère on reality.

The author of the Telekommunist Manifesto, Dmytri Kleiner, regards the narrative of the "universal basic income" as a self-seducing embellishment of reality.

The experimental cultural scholar Dr. Stephan Porombka describes new manifestations of contemporary language and draws conclusions regarding the new ways of negotiating reality. Partially in English.
