Solidarity – Bringing Together Theory and Practice

Melmun Bajarchuu works as a philosopher, dramaturg and creative producer at the interfaces of art, theory and politics. In her presentation, she provides insight into contemporary theories concerning the topics of affect theory, affirmative ethics and new materialism, building upon these to offer a suggestion for bringing together theory and practice. What spaces for thought and action do these antisubject, radically materialistic and ethical considerations open up for artists? And, can solidarity be reconsidered and thought about differently, namely as a bringing together of bodies, language, affects and technologies?
