How To: Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung: Funding for Projects at the Intersection of Culture and Education

Each year, Berlin's Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung provides 2.93 million EUR to fund artistic projects between cultural and educational or youth partner organizations that are created and realized by young people up to 27 years of age. Applications can be made multiple times per year to the different funding levels (I: € 5,000 – € 23,000 / II € 23,000 and higher / III € 500 – € 5,000).
In addition, Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung has undergone a diversity-oriented further development since 2016. Those working in the field of cultural education have made aware of diversity aspects over the course of workshops, under-represented members of the community have been encouraged to submit funding applications and program's own barriers have been closely examined.
