Open Call: the 2022 IETM Campus in Berlin

From May 19 to 26, the Berlin Performing Arts Program wil host the format IETM Campus in Berlin together with the IETM (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts) for the very first time.

Over the course of six days, 25 - 30 young theater makers from all over Europe will to come together to further educate themselves by taking part in a variety of workshop formats covering different aspects of working internationally in the independent performing arts. Topics such as the development, curation, communication and presentation of artistic projects will be focused upon, as well as working with a variety of communities and the audience development. The participants will be supported in doing so by experienced mentors. Thanks to the fact that this event will be held during both the Theatertreffen (May 6 to 22) as well as the Berlin Performing Arts Festival (May 24 to 29), there is also the opportunity to pursue networking beyond the Campus event.

The 2022 IETM Campus in Berlin is intended for members of the independent performing arts community who have at least two years of professional work experience and who would like to orient their work toward a greater international focus in the future. Those without an institutional affiliation are just as welcome as representatives of organizations who would like to expand their international practice. The Berlin Performing Arts Program can suggest up to five participants to take part free of charge.
