Performance Venues & Network: Finding Cooperation Partners and Building Networks

Do you work in the field of the performing arts and have you developed a production that you would like to send out on tour? Do you have an idea for a project and are looking for cooperation partners and a performance venue? On the basis of specific examples, the participants will elaborate strategies for the following questions: How do you proceed in order to make good and sustainable contacts to producing institutions? When doing so, what do you have to bear in mind, both formally and in terms of content?

How do you find a suitable performance venue and which performance venues can even be considered? How are performance venues structured and financed and what does that mean for the financing for my production? What options are there to finance guest performances from the funding instruments?

This workshop provides an overview of the network of performance venues on a national and international basis and provides all participants with the opportunity to work together on correspondence for contacting these venues.
