While very few things are certain at the moment, one thing does seem to be crystal clear: when it comes to complying with the hygiene and safety regulations, it will be easier to perform outside in the coming months than it will be to perform inside. But how do you “outdoor theater”? What formats work? How difficult is it to get an open-air stage up and running? What does “stage” actually mean in the context of open-air performances? What areas and places are appropriate and where do you find them in Berlin? And, last but not least, how can all of this be financed?
