Have you already managed and done bookkeeping for smaller projects and are now facing a larger challenge? Are you responsible for a festival or an international production? How do you proceed with budget and receipt controlling? What has to be kept in mind when conducting tax accounting? What special tax regulations apply to project participants who are not taxable in Germany?
This seminar will provide insight into public funding law and tips for clean project bookkeeping. It is intended for production managers and those responsible for projects that are working with comprehensive projects and would like to bring these to a conclusion free of stress and correctly.

ehrliche arbeit – freelance office for culture are Anka Belz, Janina Benduski, Anna Mareike Holtz, Nina Klöckner, Sandra Klöss, Torsten Klöss, Andrea Oberfeld, Elena Polzer, Ilka Rümke, Anna Wille.

We offer concept and project development combined with project and production management, press and public relations, curating, dramaturgy, as well as text and translation work for independent performing arts projects. In addition, we also teach workshops and hold seminars on funding and production management.

Aside from one-off projects, we have a longstanding partnership with the contemporary choreographer Christoph Winkler, the contemporary music theater collective Oper Dynamo West, the performance collective She She Pop, the director Johannes Müller and the performance group Monster Truck.

We are a member of the Umbrella Association for Contemporary Dance Berlin (ztb e.V.), the Association of Independent Performing Arts Berlin (LAFT e.V.) and the International Theatre Institute Germany (ITI).
