How does Solidarity work in the Independent Performing Arts Community?
How does Solidarity work in the Independent Performing Arts Community?
It is not only the actions on stage that count politically; the shared working practice and its constituents also count. From looking at art, we now redirect our gaze to structures and frameworks that make solidarities possible and provide spaces for solidary praxis. In how interconnected a manner do the independent performing arts community and its institutions think? How can trust be inscribed on our systems? How can sustainable work on an equal basis be fostered? All of these questions will be illuminated over the course of a shared process of consideration and, at the same time, we will stretch our feelers out to other fields and local conditions.
